On the second floor of a building in Minière, in Dixinn commune, this furnished two-bedroom apartment is offered for short and long stays, from seven nights. The district is a quarter of an hour from Kaloum via the Fidel Castro expressway, close to Donka hospital and the university. The air-conditioned lounge brings together a corner sofa, an armchair, a television with satellite package and a dining area. Both bedrooms have a double bed, a wardrobe and their own air conditioner. Two shower rooms with WC, one with a bidet, come in addition to a guest toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped: hob, oven, microwave, extractor hood, refrigerator and washing machine, with access to a balcony. What matters in Conakry is settled in advance: water and electricity are included in the rent, a backup generator takes over from the grid on set time slots, cleaning is done every day and security is provided day and night. For short stays, the contract requires neither deposit nor advance. A property managed by an agency that owns its photos and follows it up: you deal with an identified contact, not with a listing.

What we checked on site in Minière
We visited this apartment ourselves on 2026-10-07. In Conakry a furnished home is not judged on its decoration but on whether it keeps working when the grid, the water network or the internet do not. Here is what we controlled, item by item, before publishing it.
- Backup power: generator present, automatic switchover tested during the visit.
- Water: reserve tank present, real capacity checked — not the advertised figure.
- Internet: connection available and tested on site, not simply declared.
- Security: 24/7 guarding, access control and exterior lighting.
- Air conditioning: checked room by room, along with the state of the electrics.
- Lease: landlord's occupancy title verified, so the lease is enforceable. Documents checked: 2.
Living in Minière: the honest picture
A district of Dixinn commune that grew around the housing estate of the Guinea bauxite company, which gave it its name: mid-rise buildings and residences, central without being on the peninsula. Mining and engineering company staff, hospital and university personnel, consultants on assignments of a few weeks who want to stay within half an hour of Kaloum.
Minière sits in the Dixinn commune. The journey to Kaloum — ministries, head offices, part of the diplomatic community — takes 15 to 30 minutes via the Fidel Castro expressway. That is the trade-off to weigh before you sign: the further from the peninsula, the lower the rent and the longer the daily commute.
The weak point of the district, because every district has one: Access via the Fidel Castro expressway congests at rush hour: the trip to Kaloum can double in the morning, and the district keeps the pace of the hospital and the university.
- Landmarks nearby: hôpital national Donka, université Gamal Abdel Nasser, stade du 28 Septembre, autoroute Fidel Castro.
- Commute to Kaloum: 15 to 30 minutes via the Fidel Castro expressway.
What the rent covers, and what it does not
The rate for this property is set by quotation, according to the length of commitment.
Electricity and water consumption stay on the tenant's account, as does internet where a subscription has to be taken out. The minimum stay is 7 nights. Beyond three months, the rate is renegotiated downwards — tell us the duration and we build the quote around it.
Renting this property as an organization
Most of the people who rent through us are UN agencies, international NGOs, diplomatic missions, and mining or construction companies. We issue compliant quotes and invoices (TIN, VAT), handle VAT exemptions, and accept bank transfer. Invoices can be issued in USD or EUR where your finance department requires it.
We can also pair this property with a chauffeur-driven vehicle on a monthly basis — a single contact, a single invoice, which is usually what makes the difference for a mission being set up.
Frequently asked questions
Is this apartment actually available?
Yes. We verified it on site on 2026-10-07 and we withdraw a listing as soon as it is taken — we do not keep rented properties online to generate calls. Send us your dates and we confirm availability.
Does the property keep working during a power cut?
Yes. The property has a backup generator and we tested the automatic switchover during our visit. This is a disqualifying criterion for us: we do not publish a property without a working backup power solution.
What is the minimum stay?
7 nights. Most of our tenants stay several months, and the rate improves with the length of commitment. Tell us the duration you have in mind and the quote is built around it.
Can you invoice an organization with VAT exemption?
Yes. We issue numbered invoices with our TIN, handle VAT exemption for entitled organizations, accept bank transfer, and can invoice in USD or EUR.
