About

Diatigui provides international organizations, companies and expatriates in Guinea with chauffeur-driven 4x4 vehicles and verified serviced housing, in Conakry and across the country. Our typical clients: UN agencies, international NGOs, diplomatic missions, mining, energy and construction companies, consultants and expatriate families.

In Malinke, the diatigui is the host: the one who welcomes the stranger, houses them, guides them and vouches for them throughout their stay. That social institution is our specification: we do not rent equipment, we vouch for what we offer.

Our verification method

• For a property: on-site visit by our team, check of the landlord's occupancy title, test of power continuity (generator and switchover), water reserve, actual internet connection and guarding arrangements. Real photos of every room, taken recently.
• For a vehicle: check of insurance and roadworthiness, mechanical condition and safety equipment (spare wheel, first-aid kit, extinguisher for up-country missions), verification of the driver's licence, experience and references.
• The last verification date is shown on every listing, and documents can be audited by your administrative department on request.

Our commitments

• Every vehicle, driver and property is verified before publishing, and re-verified regularly.
• Compliant quotes and invoices: TIN, VAT, sequential numbering, PDF export.
• Answer within 1 business hour, in French or English.
• Payment by bank transfer, Orange Money or MTN MoMo — VAT exemptions and purchase orders handled.

Families on posting, consultants on assignment, teams from international organizations: our clients often arrive with no bearings. Our job starts at the airport and does not end when the keys change hands.

Where we operate

Serviced housing in Conakry: Kaloum, Camayenne, Landréah, Kipé, Nongo, Lambanyi and the Ratoma commune. Chauffeur-driven vehicles: Conakry and all of Guinea — Boké, Kankan, Siguiri, N'Zérékoré roads and the Simandou area, for one-off missions or long-term assignments.

What we do not do

• We do not rent without a driver. In self-drive, liability for an accident falls on the driver, in a country whose traffic conventions and post-collision procedures they do not know. This is not a commercial restriction: it is the structure of the service.
• We are not an open marketplace. Nobody lists a property with us without us having gone to see it. That limits the size of the catalogue, and we accept that.
• We do not publish a photograph that is not of the property itself. No stock image standing in for a bedroom, no photo taken three years ago. If the pictures are too old, we go back.
• We do not publish customer reviews. An unverifiable review is worth nothing, and we would rather give you the last-verification date and the documents than stars.
• We do not leave an already-let property online. A listing kept up to generate calls wastes everybody's time, starting with ours.

How we are paid

We are paid a commission on the rental, included in the advertised price — you pay no separate agency fee. That creates a bias you should be aware of: we have an interest in a rental going through. It is precisely why we write the weak point of every district on its page and the shortcomings of every property on its listing, including when it costs us a signature. A tenant who leaves after two months because something was hidden from them costs us more.

Our limits, stated plainly

• Our catalogue is curated, therefore limited. If we have nothing in the district you are targeting, we say so and we search — we do not offer something approximate to hold the ground.
• We cover Conakry for housing, not yet the interior of the country. For accommodation in Boké or Kankan we will point you elsewhere and take no commission.
• Our price ranges are market observations across the properties we verify, not an official index. They are dated and revised, not guaranteed.

Correcting us

If anything on this site is inaccurate — a journey time, an observed rent, a feature stated on a listing — write to contact@diatigui.com. We correct it and we date the correction. That goes equally for a property you have viewed and found different from its description: it is the most useful information anyone can give us.
