The Pan-African Professional Fair for Banks, Microfinance Institutions, Fintechs, Insurers and SMEs (SBPME) holds its 12th edition in Conakry under the patronage of the President of the Republic. Its theme, "Simandou 2040, a lever for AfCFTA: financing ambition, structuring production, connecting SMEs and propelling African champions", puts SME financing and financial inclusion at the centre of the discussions.
The fair brings together banks, microfinance institutions, fintechs, insurers, investors, SMEs, business support organisations and institutional partners from Guinea, more than 25 African countries and the diaspora. It combines an exhibition, conferences and meetings between entrepreneurs, investors and financial institutions. Registration is online on the fair's website.
For visitors: the fair runs for four days at the Radisson Blu hotel in Kipé (Ratoma), on the clifftop overlooking the ocean. A furnished apartment in Kipé or Lambanyi puts you minutes from the venue, with a workspace to prepare your B2B meetings. The fair falls in a very busy November in Conakry, so book early.
