FONI 2027 – International Forum on Intermediation, Digital and Innovation
Postponed from October 2026, the 5th FONI will take place in Conakry on 22–25 March 2027, focused on financing agriculture, real estate and mining.

Organised by Afrik Finances, chaired by Blaise Coffi Ahouantchédé, FONI brings together players in finance, intermediation, digital and innovation. After Lomé and Cotonou, Guinea hosts the forum for the first time. Originally scheduled for 19–22 October 2026, the 5th edition was postponed to 22–25 March 2027, the organisers citing a particularly busy end of year in Conakry.
The announced format combines two days of masterclasses (law, financing techniques, marketing, entrepreneurship) and two forum days with keynotes, high-level panels, B2B meetings and networking. Three strategic sectors are in focus: agriculture, livestock and fisheries; real estate financing; and mining subcontracting and local content. The Industrial Development and SME Fund (FODIP) is a partner and connects Guinean project holders. Participants from Benin, Togo and across the region are expected.
For visitors: a four-day event, often extended by business meetings, lends itself to a stay in a furnished apartment, roomier than a hotel room and suited to team work.
