SIERBA presents itself as West Africa's first major international renewable energy event. Organised by Brothers Consulting SARL under the authorisation of the Ministry of Energy, led by commissioner general Abdoulaye Kaya, its theme is "Invest in a green Africa: innovation, financing and sustainable energy cooperation".
The three-day fair, planned for March 2027, is set to take place at the Noom Hotel conference centre and the Palais du Peuple, both in Kaloum. Organisers target more than 3,000 participants from over 30 countries and around USD 1.5 billion of investment. Six sectors are showcased: solar, bioenergy, green hydrogen, battery storage, wind and sustainable mining practices. A pilot forum is held beforehand to build initial partnerships.
